Morupule Coal Mine hosts Naledi Mining Services Company
Morupule Coal Mine (MCM) had the honour of hosting a benchmark visit from the Naledi Mining Services Company team, showcasing our commitment to stakeholder focus and operational excellence. This visit aimed to provide insights into our mining operations and the robust safety protocols that underpin our daily activities.
The Naledi Mining Services team embarked on an enlightening tour of both the Motheo Open Cast and Underground mines. The Open Cast tour was expertly guided by Ms. Agnes Ramere, Mining Engineer Planner, and Mooketsi Mogolodi, Shift Overseer who shared valuable insights into the intricacies of open cast mining operations. Their in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience illuminated the processes that drive efficiency while maintaining our stringent safety standards.
Following the Opencast tour, Mr. Kaone Molefi, Mining Engineer – Coal Extraction, and Mr. Olefhile Cedrick Thobosi, Acting Mining Engineer Conyeing, led the team through the Underground mine, illustrating the distinct challenges and safety protocols associated with underground operations.
