Morupule Cycling Club host another successful cycling challenge

On Sunday, 25 August 2024, the Morupule Cycling Club hosted its 13th successful Cycling Challenge in partnership with Stanbic Bank Botswana in Palapye.

Cyclists and walkers from various clubs and organizations came together to tackle distances of 120 km, 90 km, 60 km, and 30 km, crossing the finish line with pride and celebrating their achievements.

We were honoured to have Mr. Sedireng Sed Serumola, Managing Director of DTCBotswana, as our guest cyclist. He praised the MCM team for organizing such an outstanding event and for its positive impact on the community. He also commended the team for the Cheshire Project, worth P300,000.00, handed over on Friday from the 2023 proceedings.

In his closing remarks, the CEO of MCM, Mr. Edwin Elias expressed gratitude to all the sponsors for their continued support over the years. He also acknowledged the presence of industry captains, highlighting the sense of unity and stakeholder focus among all organizations involved. The event wrapped up with a thrilling prize-giving ceremony where winners celebrated their achievements with various prizes.
