Morupule Coal Mine supports Sefhophe Junior Secondary Career Fair

Morupule Coal Mine (MCM) joined the Sefhophe Junior Secondary School community for their 2025 Career Fair, where Corporate Affairs Manager Mr. Louis Baseki delivered an inspiring keynote address as Guest of Honour. He commended the school’s steady academic progress over the past three years and applauded the community’s collective efforts in nurturing young minds. MCM donated P10,000 to the school, reinforcing its role in shaping Botswana’s future human capital and supporting the school’s ongoing efforts to uplift learners.

Mr. Louis Baseki urged students to view education as their superpower, while reminding them that academic success alone is not enough, it must be coupled with discipline to truly reach one’s aspirations. He encouraged learners to embrace digital skills, explore emerging industries, and make career choices that align with their passions and values. Highlighting the opportunities presented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, he emphasised the importance of innovation, adaptability, and purpose-driven careers. Echoing Botswana Vision 2036 and President Duma Boko’s commitment to inclusive development and youth empowerment, he called on learners to contribute meaningfully to national progress.

MCM remains committed to supporting platforms that ignite ambition, instill discipline, and unlock the full potential of Botswana’s youth.
