Mosadinyana Malepela, an exceptional Roof Bolter Operator at Morupule Coal Mine. She is responsible for installing temporary roof support bolts underground, ensuring a rock-solid foundation for continuous mining operations.
Before she works her magic with the Roof Bolter machine, she meticulously inspects and preps it with the right materials – roof bolts, resin, and plates.
Malepela is also the first and only female to obtain a license to operate a continuous miner.
She takes charge underground, ensuring the smooth flow of coal production. Here's to celebrating women in mining and the incredible contributions of trailblazers like Malepela!
