HONOURABLE LEFOKO MOAGI VISITS MORUPULE COAL MINE

The Minister of Mineral Resources, Green Technology & Energy Security who is also Member of Parliament for Ramotswa constituency, Honourable Lefoko Moagi recently visited Morupule Coal Mine on a familiarization tour of the Mine’s operation. The Minister was accompanied by Officials from the Ministry and the Palapye Leadership including the Member of Parliament for Palapye Honourable Onneetse Ramogapi.

Honourable Moagi and his entourage were hosted by MCM General Manager Mr. David Kgoboko. In their tour they appreciated the underground mining operation and plant as well as the Motheo project on which MCM will build a new wash coal plant and commence open cast mining. Management of Morupule Coal Mine would like to thank all the Palapye leadership for their support in making the Minister’s visit to the mine a success.
