Morupule Coal Mine inspires future generations at Sefhophe Secondary School Career
On June 13, 2024, Morupule Coal Mine (MCM) proudly participated in the career fair at Sefhophe Secondary School, bringing inspiration and valuable insights to the young minds of tomorrow. Representing the company were Mr. Mpho Moeng, a dedicated Quantity Surveyor, and Mrs. Utlwanang Rabodietso, a skilled Laboratory Technician. These two esteemed professionals engaged with students, sharing their knowledge and passion for the mining industry.
Under the theme "Making a Difference in My Generation," Mr. Moeng and Ms. Rabodietso introduced students to the dynamic world of MCM. They outlined the various subjects and career paths that can lead one into the mining sector, emphasising the importance of education and continuous learning. From geology to engineering, and environmental science to business management, they highlighted the diverse opportunities available within the industry.
