STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY ANALYSIS SCOPE FOR MORUPULE COAL MINE – MCM-ENG-00-270-2606-CF-1
The critical aspects of the scope of works (SoW) are as follows but not necessarily limited to;
Morupule Coal Mine (MCM) wishes to engage structural companies to conduct structural integrity assessment for its fixed plant and building structures. The aim is to determine if the structure is still fit for-purpose and can safely handle the loads and environmental conditions after the years of operation. The assessment is to provide MCM with the necessary information to allow the stakeholders to make informed decision regarding the condition of its plant structure.
1. DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT/ SERVICES
A preferred service provider (Consultant) or contractor is sought to conduct the following:
1. Visual inspection
2. Full Structural Investigation
3. Conclusion to the structural condition
Tender documents will be shared with the Tenderer upon receiving proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of BWP 500.00 each only on or before 13 November 2026.

Site Visit
There shall be a compulsory site visit on 17th November 2026 @ 0800hrs. Prospective bidders are advised to send the full names and identity numbers of their visiting team members to BMoswela@mcm.co.bw & copy MLamotse@mcm.co.bw, on or before 15th November 2026 @ 1500hours.

The closing date for the receipt of tender submissions shall be 07th December 2026 – 12:00noon. Tenders received after the closing date and time will not be considered.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile or any other than the one stated above will not be considered. Morupule Coal Mine reserves the right to reject or accept any submission and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any portion of any tender. Acceptance thereof is not binding on the company until confirmed through official notification. The services pertaining to this tender shall be run under Morupule Coal Mine General Conditions of Service, details of which are in the tender documents.
