The critical aspects of the scope of works (SoW) are as follows but not necessarily limited to;
The Consultant shall plan, execute and deliver a comprehensive Integrated Stormwater Management Concept Study covering all relevant areas within the Morupule Coal Mine lease area. The study shall include:
• Hydrological assessment
• Hydraulic capacity analysis
• Stormwater quality considerations
• Infrastructure risk assessment
• Integrated stormwater management options
• Concept-level engineering designs
• Implementation roadmap
The study shall consider both current mine operations and future mine development plans.
Tender documents will be shared with the Tenderer upon receiving proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of BWP 500.00 each only on or before 19 June 2026.

Site Visit
The site visit shall take place on 23 June 2026 at 08:30hours. It is a pre-requisite that all bidders interested in the “Integrated Stormwater Management Concept Study”, attend a site visit in order to familiarize themselves with the site, the scope of the services and the environmental conditions under which the services are to be performed.
Representatives attending the site visit are required to arrange their own transport, and protective clothing, i.e., steel-toed boots, trousers and long-sleeved shirts.

The closing date for the receipt of tender submissions shall be 06 July 2026 – 12:00noon. Tenders received after the closing date and time will not be considered.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile or any other than the one stated above will not be considered. Morupule Coal Mine reserves the right to reject or accept any submission and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any portion of any tender. Acceptance thereof is not binding on the company until confirmed through official notification. The services pertaining to this tender shall be run under Morupule Coal Mine General Conditions of Service, details of which are in the tender documents.
