Service Provision For Waste Management Services – Collection, Transportation & Disposal of Waste At Serowe Landfill (40KM From Point Of Collection) From Morupule Coal Mine Facilities In Morupule & Palapye (Tender No MGSSENNR4028)
The area from which the service provider is required to collect waste is referred to as the service areas. There are three distinctive service areas for this contract: being Mine offices and workshops in Morupule Coal Mine, Mine residential areas in Palapye (Ext 4, 8) and Morupule Mine Village. Tenderers are allowed to tender for either or all the above service areas. This Tender may be awarded in part or whole to one service provider. The contract is divided into five subsection areas being;
1. Part A: Provision of skips, their collection & disposal.
2. Part B: Refuse Collection from bins.
3. Part C: Clinical & sanitary waste collection from Morupule Coal Mine (i.e., Mine Clinic, H-Block, Mine Change Houses and Motheo Project Offices).
4. Part D– Collection & disposal of oily rags, used oil spill absorbents, used filters & used hydraulic hoses.
5. PART E: General litter picking.
Tender documents will be shared with the Tenderer upon receiving proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of BWP250.00 each only on or before 16 October 2023.

Site Visit
It is a pre-requisite of this tender that bidders attend a site visit to familiarize themselves with the site, the scope of the services and the environmental conditions under which the services are to be performed.
The site visit shall take place on 17 October 2023 at 08:30hours at Morupule Coal Mine. Representatives attending the site visit are required to arrange their own transport, accommodation, and protective clothing, (i.e., hard hat, steel-toed boots, reflective vest, trousers and long-sleeved shirts).

The closing date for the receipt of tender submissions shall be 31 October 2023 – 12:00noon. Tenders received after the closing date and time will not be considered.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, or emailed submissions other than the one stated above will not be considered. Morupule Coal Mine reserves the right to reject or accept any submission and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any portion of any tender. Acceptance thereof is not binding on the company until confirmed through official notification. The services pertaining to this tender shall be run under Morupule Coal Mine General Conditions of Service, details of which are in the tender documents.
