Supply and Delivery of Underground Roof Bolts and Resin for Morupule Coal Mine – (MOR/46/23/06/15)
To meet its business initiatives and objectives of mining coal efficiently, MCM requires steel roof support products and resin. MCM wishes to establish a contract with an experienced and reputable company to supply and deliver Steel Roof Support Products and Resin in the most timeous and effective manner. The products required shall include but not limited to the items listed under product description and product specifications. The contractor shall be required to supply as and when required with a minimum lead time of 5 days. MCM will issue the successful contractor with a framework order for the duration of the contract and the two parties shall agree on scheduled deliveries. Each delivery must be accompanied by test certificates. The duration of the contract shall be 36 months with an option to extend by another 12 months with the same terms and conditions at the discretion of the mine. During the duration of the contract, the following but not limited to requirements/ duties will be expected to be performed by the successful contractor:
• Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels at the bidder's warehouses as to the agreed levels, which will be agreed upon after signing of the contract.
•Attend quarterly review/planning meetings
• Conduct demand forecast for the coming quarter and adjust stock levels in accordance with the Mine demand.
• Provide short encapsulation pull-testing services on a quarterly basis. The mine will have the discretion to nominate its preferred supplier.
•Conduct training to the user departments as and when required.
Tender documents will be shared with the Tenderer upon receiving proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of BWP750.00 each only on or before 12 July 2023.

Morupule Coal Mine reserves the right to reject or accept any submission and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any portion of any tender. Acceptance thereof is not binding on the company until confirmed through official notification. The services pertaining to this tender shall be run under Morupule Coal Mine General Conditions of Service, details of which are in the tender documents.
