Construction of Type D & E Houses Project for Morupule Coal Mine in Palapye, Tender No. M0700-PMO-0008-00-00-CF
The project aims to construct and deliver type D & E houses for the mine by the end of this year or early next year. The works tendered for covers: civil works, building works, electrical & mechanical works and associated services. Only contractors who can demonstrate the following are invited to tender:
· Prior experience in delivering projects of similar nature with a total value of BWP15 million and above.
· Registered at the equivalent of PPADB Grades D and higher for Civils and Earthworks or Morupule Coal Mine Grade 5 & 6
· The company must have experience in raft foundations, bulk earthworks and commercial management of specialist subcontractors.
· The company must have 100% citizen ownership.
· Valid and current BURS tax clearance certificate.

Site Visit
It is a pre-requisite of this tender that bidders attend a site visit in order to familiarize themselves with the site, the scope of the services and the environmental conditions under which the services are to be performed.
The site visit shall take place on 07 February 2023 at 09000hours. Representatives attending the site visit are required to arrange their own transport, accommodation and protective clothing, i.e. hard hat, steel-toed boots, reflective vest, trousers and long sleeved shirts.

The closing date for the receipt of tender submissions shall be 02 March 2023 at 12:00 noon. Tenders received after the closing date and time will not be considered.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile or emailed submissions will also not be considered. Morupule Coal Mine reserves the right to reject or accept any submission and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any portion of any tender. Acceptance thereof is not binding on the company until confirmed through official notification. The services pertaining to this tender shall be run under Morupule Coal Mine General Conditions of Service, details of which are in the tender documents.
