MCM participates in Earth Hour
Saturday, 23rd March 2024, marked Earth Hour, a global initiative where individuals and organisations around the world switch off non-essential lights and electronic devices for one hour as a symbolic gesture of commitment to the planet.
Morupule Coal Mine, wholeheartedly supports this movement and stands in solidarity by shutting down our operations. “I encourage each and every one of you to participate by switching off unnecessary lights and unplugging electronic devices from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM local time”, remarked Botlhe Mokgethi Plant Manager.
