P2,2 BILLION MONUMENTAL MOU BETWEEN MCM AND LETSHEGO SIGNED

Another historic moment in the economic transformation of our country has been witnessed this morning. Financial services giant Letshego Botswana has come on board to support the Citizen Economic Empowerment Programme at MCM. The Memorandum of Understanding sees Letshego committing P2,2 billion to provide end to end Financial services to Micro and Small Entrepreneurs. Affordable funding for citizen businesses is enabled for them to participate in the value chain of our industry and beyond, hence demonstrating our quest to pursue opportunities beyond the obvious.

Partnerships and Collaborations are pinnacle to our #1-3-27 strategy and this Memorandum of Understanding is testament to that ambition as we are also living our values of; Value Creation, Sustainability, Stakeholder Focus and Together.

Micro and Small Entrepreneurs now have an opportunity to contribute to Vision 2036’s pillar 1 of a Sustainable Economy.
