Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of 65-Seater Electric Bus for Morupule Coal Mine - MCM-ENG-00-0108-2508-CF-0
The critical aspects of the scope of works (SoW) are as follows but not necessarily limited to;
• The prime purpose of the equipment is to transport MCM employees and authorised personnel safely and efficiently.
• The bus shall be a battery electric bus, suitable for mine personnel transport and compliant with applicable road, safety and electrical requirements.
• The bus shall be supplied with a compatible charging station and all accessories required for safe charging, operation and maintainability.
• Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) or other proven, safe, automotive-grade technology. Bidder to state chemistry, capacity, thermal management, protection philosophy and safety certification.
Tender documents will be shared with the Tenderer upon receiving proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of BWP 500.00 each only on or before 22 May 2026.

The closing date for the receipt of tender submissions shall be 29 May 2026 – 12:00noon. Tenders received after the closing date and time will not be considered.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile or any other than the one stated above will not be considered. Morupule Coal Mine reserves the right to reject or accept any submission and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any portion of any tender. Acceptance thereof is not binding on the company until confirmed through official notification. The services pertaining to this tender shall be run under Morupule Coal Mine General Conditions of Service, details of which are in the tender documents.
